Type-RS operates with low initial force

• It prevents power loss and allows you to improve your lap times, even with vehicles that don't have much power.
• Reduces the occurrence of abnormal noises (crackling noises also known as chattering).
• The surface pressure between the clutch plates is reduced, increasing the durability of the plates.
• This allows oil to flow smoothly between the clutch plates, improving the effectiveness of the LSD.
• In addition, the durability of the LSD oil is also improved.

The initial torque of the type-RS is approximately 50% to 70% lower than that of conventional cone plate types (compared to our previous products).
This reduces drive resistance and allows for smooth, responsive operation.

Type-RS is extremely durable

• The type-RS uses a special precision spring (RS spring) between the pressure rings, so the spring stroke is always maintained.
• Unlike the corn plate type, there is no complete contact, so there is no wear or deterioration of the clutch plate.
• The RS spring, which generates initial torque, does not sag and always delivers stable performance.

After installing it on a vehicle competing in the All Japan Gymkhana, the vehicle achieved excellent results throughout the series without any overhauls, whereas it previously required two to three overhauls per year. This demonstrates the durability required for competition-level racing.　

Type-RS has high response

• Since the direction of LSD operation and the direction of initial torque are the same, it operates quickly and responds directly to accelerator control.
• High power is transmitted to the road surface without slipping and without waste.
• Even when the clutch is engaged at the start of a 0-400m race, power is transmitted to the road without any waste.
• It maintains stable driving force even during long drifts.

• Initial Torque

Even when the LSD is not in operation, this torque is applied from the beginning to make the car move quickly. If you set it higher, you can get a stronger effect, but it will make the car less maneuverable and put a strain on the drivetrain.
