Designed off the original Gibson Motorsport-winning GT-Rs, the Hi Octane Racing alloy sheet fabricated sump extension is a must-have for your Nissan GT-R. Proven for tarmac rallies, circuit racing, and drag racing, this upgrade delivers outstanding performance while adding safety with increased oil capacity.

For years, the Achilles heel of the RB26 engine has been its oiling system, often leading to catastrophic failures under high-performance conditions. The standard RB26 sump barely supports engines producing 206kw under road conditions. Once power levels rise, G-forces increase, and sustained high RPM racing causes the standard sump to run low on oil, splashing it away from the pickup and leading to engine failure. Designed from Gibson Motorsport's Winfield GT-R and tested with success on the Hi Octane Racing R32 GT-R, this extension ensures reliability for circuit racing, drag racing, and road use.

The Hi Octane Racing sump extension is engineered for practicality—it does not hang as low as competing products, making it ideal for lowered cars or regular road use.

Order Instructions:

When ordering this item, you must send a standard RB26 sump with the diff removed, a windage tray, and a stock RB26 pickup. Our service includes modifying and fitting the fabricated extension to your sump. Please note that this item does not include a core sump—it covers the extension and labor only. Freight costs are not included.
