Description
Used, abused and praised by many top drift racers the world over, this product has found its way into D1 teams from Japan to the USA.
Rated at 800 horsepower this set was primarily designed for drift and drag racing use. It has helical cut gears for quiet street operation, yet offers close ratio's and dog engagement for fast shifting with or without the use of the clutch. This set comes complete with billet selector forks.
Retains the stock overdrive 5th gear and synchromesh engagement on 5th.
PPG also manufacture a solid billet mainshaft and a billet sandwhich plate for use in GT-R applications as additional upgrades and are recommended for vehicles exceeding 700hp.
Note: This gearset uses a larger GM26 x 1 Spline on the input shaft, modification to gearbox front cover is required, clutch plates or drive hub will need to be changed to accomodate the larger spline.
