INFORMATION REGARDING OEM FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR Late model 2JZ-GE vehicles use a returnless fuel system where the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) is integrated into the pump assembly. However, early model 2JZ-GE vehicles use a traditional fuel system with the FPR mounted directly to the fuel rail. For these setups, an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator will be required.
